Can’t get menu next to logo

    Hi,
    ran a search but couldn’t find an answer. I am running Genesis Framework, Executive Pro theme, latest version of WordPress. I don’t think there is an instruction for this specific theme.

    The Mega menu works ok, but the issue with this theme is that the “After Header” location is under the header logo, rather than next to it. The theme’s original menu is located next to the header, but it’s actually a widget. I would like to have the Mega Menu there, but I don’t know how to do that.

    Anyone know how? Any help is really appreciated.

    Hi jeharu,

    Thanks for posting a link.

    You would need to replace the old Custom Menu widget (the one that currently displays the menu next to the logo) with a Max Mega Menu Widget.

    Hi Tom,

    thanks for the reply. I did this and it appears to work. But it seems I can’t then remove the menu from the “After Header” section, because it will then also disappear from the widget.

    In the menu section of this theme I can select 2 Display locations for the menu; After Header and Footer. If I don’t select either one, then the widget will not show a menu either. Only if I select the After Header location will the widget also show the menu. But then the menu is displayed twice of course.

    Am I missing something obvious, or would I need to somehow hide the original menu location? Appreciate any advice!

    Hi jeharu,

    Maybe you need to create a new menu location to use just for the widget, please see this guide which explains how to do that:

    https://www.megamenu.com/documentation/widget/

    Then you should be able use your theme options to hide the existing menu.
