Silence isn’t golden

  • “Silince is golden” is writen in wp-content folder at index.php file. i think and i should say that; silince is not a golden, a human must speak whatever her/his wantrespectfully. well, everyperson knows and feels the respect. i think wordpress don’t say this pronunciation. i think “Silince is golden” pronunciation hushs people, because somepeople want people hush and those people say this the pronunciation i guess and i should say that i like wordpress script too

  • I think you will find that the file that says “silence is golden”, is there solely to keep curious individuals from viewing the contents of your wp-content folder via a browser window.

    The actual phrase “silence is golden” is simply a rhetorical figure of speech that attempts to describe what happens when someone tries to access a folder that contains that file. Nothing… silence… a blank page. Hence, “silence is golden”. A phrase used simply in this case, as an attempt to capture a conceptual metaphor. It has nothing to do with stifling free speech or freedom.
