Certificate Issue when Updating plugins or worpress
-
Running wordpress on Red Hat 7 server for an internal site at my company. When we try to run the updates we get the following error:
Downloading update from https://downloads.www.ads-software.com/release/wordpress-4.8.3-no-content.zip…
Download failed.: cURL error 60: Peer’s certificate issuer has been marked as not trusted by the user.
Installation FailedUpdating Plugin Advanced Custom Fields (1/18)
Downloading update from https://downloads.www.ads-software.com/plugin/advanced-custom-fields.4.4.12.zip…
An error occurred while updating Advanced Custom Fields: Download failed. cURL error 60: Peer’s certificate issuer has been marked as not trusted by the user.I am however able to manually curl from command line on same server:
curl -O https://downloads.www.ads-software.com/release/wordpress-4.8.3-no-content.zip
