Post_ID variable still not working

This is a continuation of ( https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/post_id-variable-not-working/ ) as it did not explain what user franastley did wrong on the first place. Please describe in steps, what has to be done to get {{{post_id}}} working in the query.

Used simplest of query and the table view for testing e.g. “SELECT id FROM wp_posts WHERE id = {{{page_id}}}” and the query always returns 0 rows.
