Cannot access wp-admin (returns a white page)

    The url https://consumaregiusto.it/wp-admin/upgrade.php?_wp_http_referer=%2Fwp-admin%2F is returned when trying to access to https://www.consumaregiusto.it

    These credentials are not being recognized anymore (by wordpress), but I cannot ecen reach the page where asked to type them.
    Last website update’s been done already fe months ago.
    I’ve asked support to my hosting, hereyth answer:

    “Tried to abilitate detailed PHP errors in hosting cPanel, thru section “Select PHP version> switch to PHP Options and consequently recall the page
    https://consumaregiusto.it/wp-admin/upgrade.php?_wp_http_referer=%2Fwp-admin%2F

    It appears that in the folder “/wp-admin” is generated a file “error-log” containing the specific error:
    “[02-Nov-2017 13:04:53 UTC] PHP Fatal error: Call to undefined function wp_cache_get() in /home/fb1ielxg/public_html/wp-includes/option.php on line 1132”

    No further actions have been taken by the hosting support, they suggested to ask WP help, so here I am.
