How to have a custom link / url redirect to every user’s own profile

  • Hi, trying to get the url that I can put in the main menu, that when clicked on, it will redirect users to their own profile. Thanks!

    Basically

    Link that says “My Profile” > Redirects to Login > User X’s Profile after login

    This is the redirect for “account”, which I found in the appearance > menus. But having trouble locating the “profile” redirect

    when i enter domain.com/user it redirects to home page. Is there a setting I need to check. THanks

    Hi @zo1234,

    By /user I mean your User page with your profile form shortcode. If you have changed the permalink for your default user page then you have to use the correct permalink.
    Please make sure that you’ve correctly assigned User page in Ultimate member -> Settings -> Setup.

    Yep I have a page named ‘user’ that has the profile shortcode in it. Maybe there is a setting I have clicked? I just don’t know why it’s redirecting to home. Basically just want a “My Profile” link I can put in the menu for users.

    Also to clarify, want to have this link for logged out and logged in users

    I’ve got the same issue. After click in link from mail (link to profile of user waiting for admin approve) i’m redirected to Home page.

    I checked twice that i have proper page mapped in plugin setup.

    Could u help me?
