• Hi, pretty new to WP and Sportspress.

    Run a basketball site.
Want to have basically all SP content sp_players, teams etc only viewable by certain roles that we assign, parents, players etc. Site also has a Woo shop and subscribers who can login, we don’t want them able to view player content – child protection/data protection etc.

Is this easy? Is it WP rather than SP?

    Thanks

  • I’ve asked this before and says it is “in development” so hard to “IF user level = X”

I have already tried installing some 3rd party ACL controls but their plugin ignores it.

My last one to test but haven’t done is https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/restrict-user-access/

Hopefully that one works, because many clubs have parents that do not want strangers seeing all of their kids publicly online, and consent forms are annoying to push out and manage.

Thanks! I will give it a go. It sort of looks as if the built-in deny/grant should be able to do this but haven’t got my head round it all yet.
    G’luck.

    Hi, guys!

Indeed, we don’t have this feature at the moment, as this would require a lot of custom code and other plugins already do this.

So at the moment an external plugin for the role management part is the best option.

    Thanks!
