• hi there,
i’ve just upgraded a clients site to 2.7 from 2.5.1 (and all went well).
however, i have an issue with the login screen. it’s there, but the styling is broken. i’ve checked in wp-login.php and the links to the css files are correct (i even experimented with diff urls).
checked in firebug & they are indeed correct on page render – & they ‘are’ on the webserver, even though it seems like the only possible reason the styling isn’t being applied to the login screen would be because the .css files ‘aren’t’ online.
any ideas what other files i can look at to double check things, or – is it some kind of .htaccess issue possibly (in relation to permalinks?) i’m clutching at straws basically as i can’t see any logical reason why things aren’t working.
everything else is working correctly by the way.
    thanks in advance.
    Jas

  • Must be this never got fixed?

Same problem after I moved everything from my local machine to a live server. The login page lost its style (everything else works) and I can’t find anything in either settings or database. I tried modifying the php files too. Nothing worked. I don’t know what to do or where to look.
    Any help will be appreciated.
    Thanks
    Cristi
