WP Super Cache not updated for WP 4.9

Also, I had deleted the plugin from one of our sites where it was giving us problems and just tried reinstalling. We use Advanced Caching but it will not add the Mod Rewrite Rules to the .htaccess file or apparently anything else. Looks like it’s still broken. Grrr.

One more follow-up… I decided to go ahead and try to reinstall again and use Simple Caching and that seems to be working ok… as it does not need to change the .htaccess file. I suspect the other problem still exists.

It’s bug in WP core – https://core.trac.www.ads-software.com/ticket/42579 and it’s fixed in 4.9.1 which is just released – https://make.www.ads-software.com/core/2017/11/28/wordpress-4-9-1-scheduled-for-november-29th/
