Are the changes permanent if I deactivate the plugin?

  • Hi Vladimir,

    I love this plugin and how it helps me fine tuning permissions in a simple way, but I also like to have the minimum number of plugins active in my installs, so I was wondering if the changes in role permissions made by this plugin are saved in the core WP options in the database and therefore I can deactivate it and still have them.

    Is this possible or when I deactivate the plugin I lose the changes?

    Hi,

    Thanks for the good feedback. Yes, any changes made by URE are permanent. URE saves them directly to the database wp_options table record where WordPress stores user roles.

    Take into account that while URE is active, it adds protection for users with ‘administrator’ role from other users which can edit user permissions.
