The only mail the system is in contact with is the customer PayPal mail and they do not get anything – except a receipt mail from PayPal…

I tried this on the product page: [isell_download_page]

No difference!

Download page is set to iSell Download page – but the customer never lands here…

Please enable the debug log option in the settings then check the log file after a test transaction. Do you see anything in the log file indicating the plugin is receiving IPN message from paypal?

Dunno what you mean but here is the logfile. PayPal says transaction is successfull and the money is transferred to the seller.
