URL directs to a blank page – can’t view any site content

  • When I try to access my site via the URL, all I see is a blank page.

    I was contacted by Sucuri, the company I use to monitor my wordpress blog security, and they notified me of an issue with my theme which is preventing my site from loading. For ex, when you type in the URL you just see a blank page:

    This is what I was told:
    “Unfortunately your theme is having some issues:

    Fatal error: Call to undefined function is_shop() in /home3/yourbre5/public_html/wp-content/themes/lola/functions.php on line 130

    Kindly please contact your web developer in order to resolve this problem.”

  • Hi there!

    Did you do recently any changes to your theme or installed any plugins that might affect your theme?

    Do you have a backup of your site from before the issue?

    Are you able to access the wp-admin and temporarily switch to a different theme?

    Your site opens fine for me. Have you fixed the issue?

    I get the same problem, usually when I am working on my site and keep visiting the site often.

    When I clear my cache I can access the site again fine.

    I have also tested accessing the site with a different browser (not the one that is not loading) and the site loads right away.

    Any ideas of where the problem is?
