Gave up after 2 days

Gave up after 2 days trying to configure on a fresh WordPress installation (with all required infrastructure, such as correct permissions). This plugin simply doesn’t work, no matter how many times an attempt to reinstall or reconfigure was made.
- Does not create the page as described in the installation guide
- Top level categories refuse to show
- Some articles just keep being 404 for no apparent reason (while others do not)
Would be a really nice plugin if it actually worked, but it does not. Once fixed, I’d be happy to give it 4 or even 5 stars, but it’s unratable in its present form.
