There are certain functions that may not be run if you are updating the expiry date using the backend interface:

    https://github.com/Automattic/WP-Job-Manager/blob/master/includes/class-wp-job-manager-post-types.php#L41-L45

Try changing the expiration date and saving the job as Pending at the same time, then just go ahead and re-save it as Published. Does the expiry date work properly then?

    Let us know. ??

Can you tell me more about how jobs are posted to your site in the first place? And also more about how you are changing the expiration date would be helpful.

    Thanks! ??

Hi Adam, Im just about finished with my solution to the problem, I tried what you said but though it would be best to start again from scratch, so I copied the jobs into notebook (well what ever I could) and then deleted the plugin and reinstalled it from scratch I created a new page and started to re install the jobs and it seems to of worked not finished installing all the jobs yet just want the client to check it out, but I think it seems to have worked even though it was a hassle, I set the expiry date for a year in advance so I wont see the problem again for a year, I changed the expiry day by updating the little pop up calendar but fingers crossed this has solved the problem Thanks for your help I hope not to bother you?
