States/Territories Does Not Update When Countries other than US is selected

  • When a buyer selects a country other than USA it does not update the state/territory selection, it only shows USA states – even if you select Country=Canada, etc.

    @rupertli, This seems like happening because of the autoptimize plugin in which you have tried to optimize Javascripts as well which is causing this Problem. Please turn OF JS optimization, clear the cache and check again. You will not face any problem.

    well, that would be a good first step at least ??

    once you’ve established that it’s due to JS autoptimization you can either exclude Paypal for WooCommerce’s JS from optimization OR you can untick “Also optimize shop cart/ checkout?” to automagically fix any optimization problem on cart/ checkout ??

    @optimizingmatters, Thanks for stepping in and helping. Sorry about that! In the future we’ll be better about guiding people on getting conflicting plugins working together instead of simply disabling one or the other. Thanks again for your response!
