• I recently changed my password for Instagram and when I went back to the Networks page to delete it and re-add it I got all the way to the screen where you need to put in the emailed code that Instagram sends you. Everytime I put in the code they sent I got a message that says:

    “The security code entered was not accepted. Instagram has sent you a new security code by email.”

    I tried this 4 times and no luck still. Any help on this?

    thank you for reaching out. In order to connect Blog2Social successfully, please deactivate the 2 step verification in your instagram settings.     Are you guys based out of Cologne Germany? If so, every time I try to connect your app, instagram is sending me a “was this you trying to login from Cologne, Germany? If not, please reset your password.”

    It is basically tripping the account protection it seems.

    Hi, having the same issue. I don’t have 2 step verification too. It also sends me a code, I enter it, then it says it’s not accepted. When I sign up to my instagram account it asks if it was me, i click yes, but that doesn’t help.

    Yeah now when I try to “refresh” the feed I get the error message:

    “Oops, something went wrong!
    Sorry your request can not be processed by’ll Blog2social. Please contact our support team!”

    I’m having the exact same problem, I don’t have 2 – factor authentication turned on. All of the sudden I can’t post instagram from wordpress.

    When I tried to reconnect, I will have a popup asking for the security code (which code is sent to my email), when I open instagram on android it says that something suspicious someone is trying to connect from Germany.

    I used my security code from my email but it kept saying that:

    Exact same issue here. I’ve spent hours trying to work around. I’ve tapped “this was me” for the Germany login at each step. After hours of trying to work around it, i give up. Cannot get authorization for instagram through blog2social.

    Me too. The Blog2Social dashboard is also timing out on me before it loads. Time to look for another social media solution.

    thanks everyone for reaching out. As Andreas said already Instagram recently applied changes to their API, we are currently working on providing a smooth authentication to the network and will update our workflow shortly.
    I will keep you posted here as soon as connecting to Instagram will work as usual.

    @maxlaxoc_scott your server time out might be connected to some settings in your wordpress evironment. Please take a look at our system requirements and try to set your PHP max execution time to 40, 50 or 60 seconds. If this solution doesn’t work, it would be great if you could contact our support team via e-mail at customer-service(at)blog2social(dot)com for us to specifically identify what is causing the time out in your individual case. We are always happy to help.

    @blog2socialsupport How is this not fixed yet? I’m sure if Instagram sees all these repeated attempts by “an android device in Germany” and we keep saying “yes that was me” and then log in from our actual country then Instagram’s system may see this all as suspicious and potentially affect our accounts.

    Is there an update if and when this is going to be fixed or do we move on to another product?
