The process replaced ‘%’ with a string of code!

  • After running the plugin I noticed that the plugin had replaced:

    %

    with:

    {65e28dbfc62e9470ea27cfe820fdd3398d640515b1ffd29d25e45c9ec857b777}

    I have run search and replace which worked, so this is more of a bug suggestion rather than a support question!

    Many thanks though, this plugin is awesome.

  • Observed the same error (different code).

    Same here. Especially happens with theme settings and db saved custom css. Strange error.

    Can confirm this same error. Used search and replace fixes it.

    This is not a bug, it’s a feature ??

    NOTE: Since 4.8.3, ‘%’ characters will be replaced with a placeholder string, this prevents certain SQLi attacks from taking place. This change in behaviour may cause issues for code that expects the return value of esc_sql() to be useable for other purposes.
