Need Clarification on Backups

  • Ok, so what do I need to do to make an entire backup of my site (plugins, theme, images (the are stored in a theme folder)). Will a backup of the wordpress MYSQL database do all of these things or do I need to do a different backup.

  • Hi there, first I would always backup the database, once you have that, you have most of the content, then just copy all of the wordpress directories and files to your hard drive.
