Anti-spam “AuthImage” and missing trackbacks

  • I think the graphically comment-code of the hack “Authimage” (https://www.gudlyf.com/index.php?p=376) is a very good idea and it works fine at my WP 1.3 beta.
    But after the installation of this hack I tested trackbacking from other blogs – and now the TBs of this blogs is not more shown. Likely because the trackback-URL needs now a code too?
    What can I do??? Thank you so much again!

  • This is all you will ever need. It is the AuthImage WP hack.
    “This hack plugin displays an image with some random text that the commenter has to enter in order for their comment to go through. This should cut down on any bots out there from spamming your comments area and perhaps remove the need for comment moderation.”

    I use it and now don’t receive any of those annoying Spam messages in moderation.
