  • I am also wondering if the “import-blogger.php” brings in the comments associated with my posts … this past semester I used blogger as part of a cource I was teaching and had outstanding student posts … it was all in blogger and would like to move the whole thing, comments and all to WP. Any ideas?

Is there any development on this? I’d hate to loose all the comments on couple of hundred posts. Entering them manually would be a disaster! ?? Please help!

I converted my site over from blogger to wordpress and did the import across but unfortunately no comments came through.

    Maybe I was missing something?

i did the same, comments didn’t get through. it’s rather disappointing, but than we can’t complain, it’s still a great deal for the price. ??

i would pay if someone would manage to get my comments into WordPress. pls. let me know!

Hey, everyone! I just finished testing my hacked import-blogger.php and it worked like a charm for my blog. What it does is basically the same as the original, with these modifications:
    It imports all Blogger comments.
It skips duplicate posts but imports all comments for all duplicate posts. This is for those of us who have already used the non-comment importer. Be sure not to run this new importer twice because it WILL result in duplicate comments!
Let me just reiterate one thing here: if you run this twice on the same blog, you will wind up with twice the comments. I couldn’t get the dupcheck to work for comments. Sorry!

    Here is the code.

Any bug reports are welcome. This was my first PHP project!
