  • Thanks for your comment.

In the next version, I will either limit the backlink to one, or give the user an option to limit it to one.

I will look into putting ads in the category view as well.

removing the links to you is nothing short of pain in the …. With your links in place, adsense only displaying ads only 8 out of 10 times and 2/10 public service ads. This is really a commercial plugin, wih 8 links going to you and to your plugin page, for every page on my blog. This shouldnt even be listed here. Moreover, putting your links on the Adsense Ad, as if its part of the ad, is Adsense TOS violation. Had one of the link not pointing to WordPress, the adsense account will be cancelled in a second by google. Kindly remove your links or remove your plugin. I will wait until you decide, before I will give it a 1 star or 5 stars. Otherwise your plugin is good and deserves a donation.

Thanks for your kind words about the plugin, notwithstanding the criticism about the back-links.

In the latest version (1.81), you have an option to limit the links to my site to just one by checking an option box. If you want to take out the last link too, I’m afraid you will have to edit the plugin — inconvenient, but not difficult.

But if more users ask for it, I will make it an option to silence the last link as well. Let me know.

And if more users want the plugin to be removed, that can be arranged as well.

Can you please give us instructions how to remove the last link? In lay man terms, step by step instructions.

This is a great plugin, by far the best adsense plugin. Kindly do not remove your plugin.

I dont mind paying, if a plugin with links removed is available at your website.

    Thanks

I agree with Sean. Sorry for criticism. I did not mean to offend you. As you know, one cannot mess arround with Adsense. They will simply kick you out and their is no one you can fall back on. They just simply dominate in terms of ad rev. payout. Perhaps they have a reason to be arrogant or may be, they just dont have time to listen to the little guys.

In any case, i do not want to take my chances and hope you understand. I have been dropped once by them, for no mistake of mine, and fortunately they did pay me the $5000+. I did threaten them, that if they did not, I would go to war with them, with the Holy Names of the Lord. Starving children in India were counting on part of that money.

If you would like to write up an article on your plugin, I would be happy to promote it by submitting to about 1200 blogs, for free. You should get plenty of back links to your blog.

All right guys, I will make all back-links an option in the plugin setup page. I will release 1.82 soon with that feature.

sdebbad2, thanks for the offer to write a review article and promote the plugin. Please do! Appreciate it.

Sean, thanks for the offer to pay. I don’t like to take money for the plugin itself. But please visit my blog [https://www.thulasidas.com] and take a look at some of my posts. If you like my ideas and style of writing, you might like my book. Consider buying it if (and only if) you think you will enjoy reading it.

I think your plugin is great BUT!!!

unfortunately on my blog it only shows white space in my sidebar and where the ads should be. I have checked the adsense code and can find nothing amiss, have you any idea what the problem could be?

If you just created the Google AdSense code, it may not be active yet. Google takes about ten minutes or so before serving ads. Please try again later.

First Off, this plug-in is by far one of the most useful for WordPress. I have had hardly any issues. However, with the latest update of Easy Adsenser and WordPress it seems the widget ad doesn’t show. Furthermore, ad blocks show on the first 3 blog posts which is as if it isn’t enabled (which it is). I’ve re-installed your plug-in, changed if your link-back is there, changed how it is aligned and made sure the plug-in is enabled but no combination seems to work. Do you have any advice?

BTW I have asuggestion for a feature. It would be good to have an option to say how many ad blocks the user wants, for example, if I manually place an ad block in an area where the easy adsenser can’t cater for (banner near the top of the page etc), I couldn’t limit the ads to 3, it would be 4 since the Easy Adsenser always places 3 ads (or more). Perhaps have options of 1,2 or 3 ads per page with/without widget included?

    Cheers

KICKERMAN360, thanks for the kind words. And for the excellent feature request; I will try to include it in my next release.

I don’t quite understand “ad blocks show on the first 3 blog posts which is as if it isn’t enabled (which it is).” Ad blocks should show if they are enabled.

If you have more than three ad blocks, Google may not serve you the fourth one, resulting in an empty patch. Is that what you are seeing instead of your the widget ad?

    (@kickerman360)

    Hi,
I’ll try to explain it a little better with some scenarios:

3 Ads – Blog Posts Only = 3 Ads in Posts
3 Ads – Blog Posts + Widget = 3 Ads in Posts + No Widget (most of the time)*
*It should be 2 Blog Posts and widget appearing.

Sometimes the widget appears but it’s very random. My Google Adsense code and account are in good standing as well, but I’ll work around the issue with the new feature you added (only have 2 ads + separate HTML Widget).

    Cheers, KICKERMAN360
