• Dear Sirs,

I am using your plugin to export a Custom Post created in PODs. Most of the fields are displayed perfectly, but the fields within the custom post that are related to users display all of the data for that user and not just the username. I have spoken to the PODs team and they have suggested I contact you. They have said they don’t have the REST API running and that maybe the cause of the issue but they cannot be sure.

I am afraid I cannot show you the table as it is on a portal website secured by login for each user.

Please can you let me know your thoughts.

    Kind regards,

    Ian

  • Hey this is the Pods Team. Some clarifications: if REST API is enabled for our relationship fields, they will output the record under the connected relationship. Since our relationship fields write an array connection to the post they’re connected to (in the case above, the Related User), that’s what we’re thinking might be happening in your case. If you want to drop onto our Slack Chat at https://pods.io/chat/ we’d be happy to help out and discuss.

    Thanks!

    Hello @hornet25,
as the name suggests, this is a pretty simple export plugin, which will simply output values associated to data (eg. a custom field key), even in case of an array usually, but it won’t make any other checks or cross-reference.

You might need a more complex export/import plugin like WP All Import for your specific usage.

May I see part of the csv you exported, to have an idea of what you are seeing?
I doubt I can be of help in this specific case, but you never know.
