Managing Checks and Credit Cards – Face to Face Donations

Hi,

I am in the process of developing payment integration for a non-profit. They receive contributions online and offline. We have paypal integration for online and it works fine.

But we are getting a lot of manual contributions during an event – Cash, Checks and Credit Cards. Sometimes they prefer a recurring payment which we do not have a way to do it till now. Hence this plugin is an awesome choice.

I understand I can manually type in credit card number as though it was submitted online.

1. Is there a way to scan the credit card to some hardware device connected to laptop that will fill up the credit card info into this plugin? I am open to any other way to accomplish the same.

2. If we receive cash or check, we need to generate a receipt and email to us and the contributor simultaneously. This amount should be reflected in the plugin total contribution amount also.
