Alert for email are NOT sending out

In the latest update I implemented an alert with the local email service.

So if SMTP inserted in plugin fails it will use local server (php) email?

Sorry but i didnt get any Email faild alert.

my test:
1) I entered SMTP details and send – works(email sent and arrived)!
2) I entered wrong SMTP details to make the process to fail – email is not sent but I’m not getting any alert to my email.
3) when I’m deactivate POST-SMTP plugin and send email (using contact form 7) – email is sent successfully and arrive on my side.
expected result: POST-SMTP will use my local server (php) email for sending my alert that my email fail.

I am so sorry, with the developent and support I go lost ??

I have double check and you can see in the support forums here that the fallback is working good and using the local mail server.

Contact form 7 using wp_mail to send emails and he can be change by custom code, check that there isn’t any plugin like something from your host that can change it.

If you know there isn’t something like that you need to contact your host.

– Contact form 7 with wp-mail working and sending emails when SMTP Mails is deactivating.
– when SMTP Mails is activating but for some reason (e.g wrong details) emails are not sending out I would expect that wp-mail will work but this is not happened in this case so I don’t think Contact form 7 or my hosting is the problem.
