Pop Up Only Works in Edit With Elementor

    Hi, the pop ups show up and are otherwise fully functional when I click on the buttons while in “Edit With Elementor”. However, when I exit out and try to view the web page the pop ups don’t show up. The mobile version works fine but the desktop version does not.

  • This is weird because I’m having exactly the opposite problem. No popup in the editor. The popup only works on the front end.

    You might have a conflict there as rightly pointed out by @mdc2957 the popup should not be showing in edit mode.

    Have you tried narrowing down to a few plugins active to see if there is any conflict from one of them?

    Adv WP Reset
    Contact Form 7
    Contact Form 7 skins
    Elementor
    Ocean Extra
    Popbox for Elementor

    @paoloencar9 could you direct me to where exactly on the page the button for PopBox should appear so that I can take a look at the underlying code?

    Also, could you please confirm that the post for the content is actually set to publish and not in draft mode?

    I already changed the buttons I needed to links instead of pop ups so I guess this has been resolved?

    Just to add: I have pop up buttons on another page and those worked just fine. Didn’t have to change those.
