On this page you can see 3 FB widget boxes… 2 are working fine BUT the 1 this isn’t working is the 1 I need to work for this website because it’s the company FB business page. Any ideas on how to fix?

    Thanks in advance!

    Hi @charmedone,

I see that you used the page-ID there, can you also use the page name (like you did with the other two)? Will it be resolved with that?

    Kind regards,

    Hi Jeroen,
I used the page name the first time (like I did with the other 2) and it didn’t work so this last time I used the page ID. However, I just inserted the page name again. Everything still the same!

Is the page public? What happens if you tried it with another page with the name like quoteshirts (or any other that you want).

If there are three valid Facebook boxes when you use quoteshirts as a Widget, it might be a problem with your page.

Let me know if you used Quoteshirts and it still didn’t work.

    Hi There again!
    Thanks for the speedy response!

I’ve updated my website page to “quoteshirts” and all 3 boxes show up.

My https://www.facebook.com/bkrichagencyinc business page is published and verified.

I’ve contacted Facebook about my page but they have yet to respond.

What problem could it be ya think?? Could it be a facebook app problem?

Good to hear that other pages do work, I don’t think it’s a plugin-bug then.

When I click on the link to your page, I have to login to view. That’s not the case on the QuoteShirts page, I can see some content without logging in. Maybe the page still is not published well or it has some other setting that doesn’t allow it to be fully public.

I did create the plugin, but I am not sure how you can configure your Facebook page correctly to be fully public. I hope Facebook can help you with that. Maybe you can compare the settings with your other pages?

    Kind regards,

    Thanks a million Jeroen.

Today I’ll be digging, scanning each detail on each of my pages comparing them till I figure it out.

    Thanks again!

No problem, thanks again for using my plugin! If you figured everything out and you like, it would you leave a review? ??

    All the best,

Figured it out… I had the “age restriction” set to 18+. Who would have thought that a simple setting such as age restriction would prevent it from displaying properly on a website via a plugin?

    Thanks for your help!

    Yes, I’ll leave a review! ??

    Thanks again!

Haha good to know what it is, and that you documented it here! It might be useful for other users ??
