Changes Not Sticking

When I check the box to hide certain backend menu items for a given role type and hit “Update” some of the changes are not sticking – i.e. some check boxes remain checked (as expected) and others do not.

I have tried this plugin on two separate WordPress installations with the same effect. My current site is using the latest version of PHP.

I am using User Role Editor Pro – is that known to have a conflict?
