How to remove the title of the blog when sharing sites auto-generate meta?

  • I have a WordPress blog. When I share a link on social media, it generates the featured image, then the title, then puts a | and the blog title, then the content.

    I want to remove the ” | Blog Title ” part. How can I do this?

  • This is part of the post’s HTML <title> tag and is usually added by your SEO plugin or your theme. You’d need to find out which and then edit the SEO plugin’s settings to remove it, or if it’s the theme then contact the theme developer as it’s often hard-coded.
