MY Websites doesent ‘t work at all

  • Hey,

    I wanted to change my domain in my worldpress dashboard from jeremylopes.com to lopestwins.com and now I can’t logIn or do anything on my website!

    I am pretty much lost because www.ads-software.com doesn’t have a support contact!
    The best think would be just to delete my website since I don’t use it at all!

    PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!!!!!

  • Hi @jeremylopes,

    You can’t migrate the WordPress site simply by changing the domain name under WordPress admin settings. It appears you’ve setup your WordPress site on jeremylopes.com and just changed the website name to lopestwins.com there.

    Please read below. It describes very well about migrating WordPress to new domain or new server.

    A few pointers:
    – www.ads-software.com DOES NOT host websites, your website is hosted somewhere else.
    – To get your website back, you need to undo your unfortunate edit in your WordPress dashboard. Either:
    A) edit your wp-config.php file, instructions here: https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Changing_The_Site_URL
    B) Using phpmyadmin edit the options table and change the URLs there.

    As well as the moving WordPress docs described above there are plugins that help a lot, one called DUPLICATOR has a good reputation.
