    First of all great product!

I just switched from https://www.blubrry.com to your plugin. I really like this plugin, but there is a major issue.

All podcast episodes show up in itune podcast store, however none of the podcast episodes are playable.

All podcast eposides are playable on the website https://tabernacleofgod.net

I am able to play the podcast on IOS podcast app, and other android podcast apps.

I cannot figure what is wrong, your help is much appreciated.

HI there and thanks for the message. I do see that the episodes are playable on your site, but as you said not in iTunes. Have you tried refreshing your feed within iTunes? If any of your media file URLs have changed as a result of the migration from Blubrry that very well may be at the heart of the issue.

    Craig,

Thank you for looking into this issue. No, I have not tried to refresh on podcastsconnect

I just submitted a refresh request, I will check back in 24 hours and report the result back here.

    Craig,

podcastconnect.apple.com shows that my podcast has been refreshed, however my podcast still cannot be played on apple podcast store on itune. Do you have any other idea what went wrong?

    Craig,

The podcast is working on the website, on iphone podcast app, on all the android apps that I have tested, but not on apple itune app on desktop, unless I subscribe to the podcast.

Any idea why is the root cause of this? I am out of idea. castfeedvalidator.com shows that the rss feed is valid.

    Thanks for your help.

    Craig,

I changed the audio from mp4 (AAC) to mp3, it is working on Apple Podcast store in tune again!

It is very interesting. I have been using m4a format in Blurry Powerpress for a long time without issues. For reason unknown to me, mp4 does not play nice with Seriously Simple Podcast and Apple Itune.

I am going to work on converting all my audio to mp3 formats.

I really like Seriously Simple Podcast, keep up the good work!

    Hi there

My apologies for only getting back to you now on this.

So glad to hear you came right with the file format though. Just shout if there’s anything else we can assist you with along the way.
