Can’t find database backup in full backup

  • Hi guys,
    I really like your plugin! However, I have noticed that I cannot really find the database backup in the full backup! I noticed it just now because a database backup was present in the root directory, and assumed it was the daily one that was then included in the full zip. However, when I looked more closely, I saw it’s a backup from April!

    I’d rather not post a screenshot of the zip because I don’t want to expose my directory structure. Could you please help out? ??

  • I’m with Stefano on that one.
    The database file in the root directory of the backup is out-of-date.
    I had a problem with my site.
    I was confident because I had made a backup with backup WordPress right before…but then I couldn’t restore the latest version of the site.

    Luckily the automatic database (only) backup works and I could recover a not-so-distant version of the site there… but still, the complete version should be really complete and include the database when it says it does.

    Of course, I might just not understand the way the plugin works, maybe there’s another db file stored while making complete backup …but in that case please, point me to it.

    Yes! This topic does not seem to get any attention whatsoever from plugin authors, although it makes the plugin 50% useless!
