In the Dashboard, the nag/reminder message keeps coming back. I’m referring to the message:

Duplicate Post turns 10! Serving the WordPress community since November 2007.
Check out the new documentation – Please review the settings to make sure it works as you expect.
Help me develop the plugin and provide support by donating even a small sum.

Regardless of how many times I dismiss the message, it returns the next time I come back to the Dashboard. Very annoying.

  • Hi @danbeach,
    sorry about the issue.
Have you tried visiting SettingsDuplicate Post, tab Display, and disabling the relevant checkbox? Does it solve?

Thanks for the reply. I did verify that the relevant checkbox was unchecked. Doing a few more tests, I discovered that it’s actually a reminder at the network level. This is installed on a multisite installation. The sites that have it enabled (and have the appropriate checkbox disabled) are fine. At the network level, there are no settings available so it keeps showing up.

    Hi @danbeach,
if you can access the DB, can you check the value of duplicate_post_show_notice in table wp_sitemeta, and try to set it to 0 to see if it fixes the issue?

That fixed the issue. Thanks so much!
