• Hi, I’m trying to configure SportsPress plugin for Forza car racing game (Motorsports).

For Event Results, I only have one equation which is: “total race time” (min:sec) (minus) “penalization time” (min:sec).

    1) What’s the difference between the “for” and “against” variables that are automatically generated or what are they for or how are they used?

    2) Do they apply to a player vs player Motorsports racing sport?

In Player Performance, there is an option to format the variable as an Equation but after creating it, I don’t know how or where it can be displayed or used.

    3) Where can I find these equation variables after creating them?

    4) How can I use them or what are they for?

In most racing sports, times are formatted in MM:SS.SSS (seconds with 3 decimals) because many cars/players can cross the finish line within the same second.

    5) How can I format all time variables to be entered and displayed in the Box Score in this format: MM:SS.SSS (seconds with 3 decimals)?

If I have to code or use functions, please advice where I could get this kind of help.

    Thanks!

    Hi!

    Thanks for your message!

    1) They filter out the current stat based on what that player / team has done, and what others have done. In timed sports this may not make sense (as you usually track time) but for example, in soccer, the goals against is an important metric.

    2) Yes, they do

    3) They are only used in the league tables, as they are used to add up the total stats for a particular competition

    4) Maybe if you want to display the total time of a player you can use that.

    5) I believe this is being discussed in another ticket

    Thanks!

    Kind Regards,
    -Roch
