Not the greatest, not worth the premium expense
-
The plugin works just fine; however, if you don’t have the premium version then there is no actual “auto-post” or “scheduling.” Everything has to be done manually which can be a pain and time-consuming. Granted, it’s less time-consuming than posting on individual social media pages but only just marginally.
I also checked out the price for premium services recently. It’s a major price gouge. Nearly $85 USD a year. I paid that much for my website hosting for 3 YEARS! In other words, Blog2Social is telling me that its services are worth more than my hosting site’s services. That’s a pretty big claim and one that I don’t think is true. At least not going off of the free version as it’s rather limiting.
I also wanted to point out that competing plugins offer a similar premium service at half the price with seemingly MORE website connections available in their free version.
Another thing that I’m really not a fan of is the constant barrage of the plugin asking you to rate it. That and it’s rather entitled language about how it deserves a 5-star rating. It’s almost as annoying as the fact that the plugin advertises its premium services everywhere I look, including when I’m writing a post and it shows me everything I CAN’T do with the free version. Thanks, developers. I love looking at that.
