Server response time

  • Hello there,

    I’ve installed AMP and I must say it’s a wonderful piece of plugin. Sadly, I have a problem on pagespeed where the response time of my server is really slow on the AMP version of my homepage on my first run. It seems I need to prime the test a first time to get the right result on a seond test.

    It runs on cloudflare and I did the recommended tweak on your wiki and it works fine. I have disabled all the other cache and optimisation addons I previously had before running cloudflare.

    I’m pretty sure you have an advice about this kind of issues, or maybe a recommended addon that would fix it.

    I tried with W3 total cache and the redirection stops working when it’s active.

    Cloudflare, WT3 Total cache and this plugin work together fine for me. I don’t use redirection on mobile devices though. I am not sure why you want to be doing redirection as it is up to google to decide whether it presents an AMP page or not. Try turning redirection off and see whether page speed improves.
