• Hi!
I see from the Codex there are built in functions for Next Post/Prev Post but not for Pages. Also the two plugins they suggest have not been updated in over 2 years (will they work on 4.9.1 OK).

What I need is to have a Next / Prev Page link on the bottom of several pages (probably child pages) eg: Main page: SUPPORT – Child Pages: HELP / INSTALLING / CONTACT so that at the bottom of the HELP page is a link for Next: Installing and Previous: Contact.

Is this possible, easily, or do the plugins above still work (I will try them tomorrow if noone replies).

My client wants to be able to scroll through 8 or so pages using Next (Page Name) and Prev (Page Name) etc.

    Thanks
    Ernie

  • Why not just manually add next/prev links at the bottom of the pages? Posts are in chronological order, pages are not – they are static.

True, that makes sense and the simplest option.

Is there an easy way to have the destination page thumbnail show on hover of the link?
