Share a different URL?

  • Hi, I’d like to use this plugin to insert the share button shortcode on a thank you page. But, I want to share buttons to share the signup age for others to sign up, not the thank you page (that the buttons are actually on). Is there any way to change the URL the buttons are sharing?

    That’s a shame ?? It would be a really helpful feature to have in the shortcode version, so that you can say something like [cresta-social-share url=”example.com”] to make it so it always shares the homepage (or whatever page you choose), especially to use the shortcode in a sidebar widget so people don’t end up sharing something like the archive page 2 url.

    you know what, it’s not a bad idea!
    In the next plugin update I will insert the possibility to add a custom url inside the shortcode, in this way you can share a different URL based on the user’s choice.
    Something like [cresta-social-share url=”different-url.com”]
