Bugs on version 2.0

    Since I upgraded to version 2.0, it’s no possible for members to add addresses. It worked well before.

    In the administration options, it’s no possible to pass “Auto Publish listings?” on yes. The option is not stored by the plugin.

    For Sidebar Shortcode “If provided, Default sidebar contact form will be replaced with provided shortcode”. Ok, but where are the shortcode? It’s just a suggestion, but it’s not very relevant that the plugin appears on entire page width.

    I’m up for you to buy add-ons., but the basic version should work nice in first ??

  • Auto publishing should be fixed now, you can download beta version from our site and upload it through ftp.
    you can use any shortcode that comes with plugin or themes
    I didnt find any issue in adding addresses, could you please send me a screenshot of what issue are you facing?

    I installed version 2.1. Indeed, the “Auto Publish listings” bug is fixed.

    Now there is the big problem that users can not add an address. Here is the screenshot:

    The problem is very simple to understand. Since you’ve added role-based permission, it’s blocking public submissions and for users.

    It’s enough to propose to activate this function or not. That’s all ??

    After that, for me your plugin will work very well.

    Yes, the plugin is not allowing subscribers to submit listing. if user registers form inside the plugin, it should be directory-contributor. we can add a choice for administrator whether to allow subscribers to post listing or not.

    My problem was the graphic above the message box was blocking the google map when the directory was viewed on a tablet or phone, but the css you sent me fixed that, I think because I totally deactivated and deleted both versions of the plugin, and reinstalled version 1.43 I believe it is and all is working great now.

    Unless you tell me otherwise I plan to stay with the V1 series until you’re completely happy with V2 and are confident it does what it supposed to do.

    I know the plugin is free, and I haven’t told you how much I appreciate your hard work and devotion keeping it clean and working so well. And, if you do decide to start charging a fee, I would have to start paying, based on your support and dedication demonstrated while it is free.

    In my opinion, your change of option is totally illogical. And for me, as for many other users, your plugin loses all its interest.

    It was not difficult to keep both options. Or at least allow the choice of role, other than only directory-contributor (suscriber, keymaster…). Every people does not have just one plugin on its website.

    But I’m not resentful, I can send you the .PO file in French ?? It’s not 100% translated but there is the essential. If the plugin fulfilled its original function again, I will be able to finish the complete translation very quickly.

    We will surely add options for user role, sorry for the inconvenience. and thanks for using our plugin and suggesting few options.
