Text formatting doesn’t appear on Home page

  • The formatting I apply to text in my story (i.e., bold or italic formatting), doesn’t show up on the front page, but does show up on the article page. What gives?

    Also, I’m wondering how to make more of the story show up on the front page. I have “full text” selected for “For each article in a feed, show…” in the Reading Settings.

    In your theme file index.php, find the_excerpt( ... ) and change it to the_content( ... )

    That will resolve both of your issues.
