    Hi,

thanks for your question, and sorry for the trouble.

Unfortunately, I’ll have to disappoint you here. Such sophisticated filtering/search forms are not possible with TablePress, out of the box. You would have to implement a custom form and then e.g. do the filtering using the API functions that the DataTables JavaScript library from https://www.datatables.net/ offers.

    Regards,
    Tobias

I have created a WordPress plugin called W3 Search Fields. You can create complex search forms that will filter the post results (while showing search options only relevant to the results). The results are returned instantly via Ajax and there are lots of customization options available.

You can see W3 Search Fields in action at https://votable.net

You can check out the product page at https://w3extensions.com/products/search-fields/

We also providing custom development services. So if you need custom functionality we can create it for you.

If you have any questions please contact us. (https://w3extensions.com/contact/)

    Hi,

from what I can see, this solution does not apply to TablePress though, right?

    Regards,
    Tobias

Right. Search Fields only filters WordPress posts.
