Rogue ‘Embed Links’ Appearing in my Page Lists

  • Hi,

    I don’t know why this is happening, but I’m regularly getting new pages appearing in my page lists, always with the title ‘Embed Link’, which I’m only noticing once it’s been picked up and retweeted by my Social Network tool.

    Has anyone got any ideas why this is happening?

    Hmmm… problem with that is, no-one will be able to see the rogue links unless they have admin access, as the pages constructed aren’t added to any menu.

    I just wondered if anyone else had come across this problem, and how they fixed it.

    Sure, I can get you a screenshot.

    Might be a while though as these ‘rogue pages’ only appear intermittently.

    Meantime, install WordFence and set the scan options to be fairly aggressive.
