This is probably very obvious, but I can’t for the life of me figure out how to get the Dutch translation of this plugin working. Right now it’s all in English, and I want the buttons etc to show in Dutch. I have downloaded the latest version of your plugin.

Also, at the moment the main Jobs page is automatically created in a subfolder called ‘jobs’. Aka, https://www.website.com/jobs. Is it possible to change this slug to something else (i.e. a Dutch word)?

    Thanks!

Ok never mind about the second question. I found where to change it (General options -> Jobpost Custom Post Type Slug).

    Hello @jeharu,

You can change the plugin language to Dutch (Nederlands) by following these steps.

    1. Go to Settings -> General
    2. Change “Site Language” to Nederlands
    3. Save changes

Glad that you found your solution to the second question, I will restate the steps just in case it helps someone else.

    1. Go to Jobboard -> Settings -> General
    2. Change “Jobpost Custom Post Type Slug” to whatever you want.
    3. Save changes

Thank you for reaching us out.

    Hi,

If it only were that simple ??
For some reason I don’t have the Site Language option in General Settings, nor anywhere else. See screenshot:

Using latest version of the plugin. Installed and activated via WordPress Admin console.

    Hello @jeharu,

Please go to WordPress Settings page, switching language works through default option. SJB only includes the language file.

Let us know if you need further help.

Ah I see. So WordPress must be set in Dutch entirely and then the plugin will automatically be translated as well.

Thanks for getting back to me so quickly. I’m not sure I want to switch my WordPress language as people from different nationalities are working on it at intervals. I will see if I can find a workaround, perhaps by editing the plugin’s PHP files. Cheers!

So, I would like to change some individual items to Dutch manually. For example in the jobs overview page, the “Read More” buttons. And in the filter part, things like the “Keywords” search term that is automatically filled in.

I have checked the PHP files, but I can’t find where to change this. Can you point me in the right direction?

    Hello @jeharu,

You can make modifications to SJB templates as per your requirements. Please avoid doing changes in plugin core files and visit the plugin page and see the CONFIGURATIONS & TEMPLATING section.

    Thanks

I have 3 languages on my site (Japanese/English/Spanish). I can easily translate the content for any post or page but I can’t find the way to translate the content for job posts. Please the way to translate content.

    Hello @cjcraven,

If you are using any plugin for translation then explore the settings of the plugin to translate Job Board content.

You can also suggest translation for Job Board on GlotPress. GlotPress team will review your suggestion and then update it accordingly. Then you will receive translation updates through WordPress Updates page.

If you have any other question relevant to translation then let us know.

    Thanks & Regards,

Sorry, I figured it out. There is a translation checkbox towards the bottom of the page for multilingual. It works perfect now. Cheers
