Why using 3rd party API?

  • I was going through the wizard and it only offers 3 APIs to use the plugin with. In SMTP Postman plugin times, I was able to use out own email relay.
    What would cause this limited scope of email relay servers?

  • Lost you.

    SMTP support is the same.

    API is additinal feature that allow you to send more reliable on some hosts – blocking smtp ports, etc…

    He is right I am having the same issue the plugin is forcing me to use the API feature only, I used to be able to use the other options before.

    Now it only shows:
    1- Mandrill API
    2- SendGrid API
    3- Mailgun API

    Ohhh,
    that can happen if your smtp server is not avaliable.

    Do a “Connectivity Test” to verify that.
