    dear Colleagues

    could an admin WordPress user have the ability to delete all website content files?
    without having an ftp account only a wordpress admin user

    is that possible?

    When you checked via FTP, are the files actually gone?

    Yes, a WP admin could delete files if the right plugins were used. There are file manager plugins with that ability.

    Yes, as an admin, you can delete all website content files. In fact, it happened to me. I had all the content on my website deleted mistakenly. I tried recovering but it didn’t work. So what I did was to reach out to the WordPress support service, [moderated]
