I was knee deep in this yesterday. If you watch the video at the very top of the page, it will help you get your critical path css so you can use the option to inline and defer. I used this site to get my critical path css https://www.sitelocity.com/critical-path-css-generator and I had better results than the one listed.

Watch the video, it will tell you everything.
