After the update today, my pop ups and embedded “subscribe to” items are missing.
I have checked over all my setting with hustle and Mail Chimp to see if everything was good, and it is, but still nothing.

When I go to this page: https://myancientwisdom.com/subscribe-to-blog/ There should be a widget that contains the Hustle plug-in to subscribe. In “edit page” mode it says that there is a missing widget, which is where the Hustle plug in should be.

Looks like there are other people with this same issue.

    What is going on?
    How can I fix this?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hello @awapril

    Hope all is well!

In latest version 6.0 of the Hustle plugin few changes were added, popup, slide in and widget forms can be created separately. To show a form in a widget or as a shortcode, please create an Embed form from Hustle > Embeds. Enable Widget module type. You will need to select this new module in Hustle’ widget to show it on the sidebar.

    Please see this screenshot:

As for the popup, it is loading from my end. Would you please clear browser cache as it is described in here and see if the pop-up will appear on your end?

Please let us know how it went!

    Kind regards,
    Nastia

    Thank you for your response.

I was able to fix the embed on my one page and that is working fine.

I was also able to get the popup to work again by clearing the cache…for awhile. But now that I have made some more changes to my pages the popups are no longer showing up again. I have since tried to clear the cache 3 more times and had no change. The popup is again not working on my end.

I tried it on my phone too, just to see, and I cannot see the popup.

Can you see it? Is there something else wrong?

    Hello @awapril

    I trust all is well!

The pop-up on your site is loading from my end, on desktop and on mobile device. Please see this screenshot.

Are there any Pop-up display rules added in Display Settings? If yes, please upload a screenshot so we could see which conditions are active. In case there are no display rules added, please view your site in incognito mode to see the pop up.

    Please advise,

    Cheers,

By “Display Settings”, do you mean the area in settings where it says “Don’t show modules to” ? If so, I have all those turned off.

I did view my site thru incognito mode and was able to see the pop-up…still curious as to why I am not seeing it even with clearing the cache though…

    Hey @awapril,

    Hope you’re well today.

The popup is also visible on my end. So I think there is some kind of caching mechanism on your browser. Did you try with a different browser too? If another browser and incognito window works definitely there is cache and not cleared for some reason.

hmmm…okay. Well, as long as I know it is showing up in incognito mode I don’t think I will bother trying to figure out why the cache won’t clear. Thanks!

Can you check this out? thanks!

    Hey @mheospark,

    Hope you’re well.

I saw some JS errors in browser console and looks like they are about your theme. Did you try changing your theme? If not, can you try with default WordPress theme Twenty Seventeen?

    Also, could you please start a new thread? According to www.ads-software.com forum guides you should open a new topic even if the issue looks same;

Unless users have the exact same version of WordPress on the same physical server hosted by the same hosts with the same plugins, theme, and configurations, then the odds are the solution for one user will not be the same for another. For this reason, we recommend people start their own topics.

And we will gladly investigate this further for you.
