removing dark overlay code doesn’t work

    Hi there, so as it was told in the forum I used:

    .hero-section–slider .hero-section__wrap::before {
    display: none
    }

    But it is not working, I can still seing the dark color… There is another user in the forum asking for the same thing and never got a reply. Please help.
