Cannot Upload Theme

  • I have been trying unsuccessfully to upload my theme to the directory. Whenever I try I get a message saying that only .zip files are allowed. I have tried with both Google Chrome and Safari, with the same results. The zip archive I am upload is made with WinRAR. I don’t believe that should have any effect, but I suppose it might. Can anybody help? Thanks.

  • There is not enough information given for anyone to help you. How are you trying to upload? Have you read the Codex on uploading themes? Have you viewed whooami’s excellent video on uploading themes?

    An RAR archive is not a ZIP archive. It is an entirely different compression utility.
