This is quite odd. Sorry for this. Can you do me a favor an let me know what active plugins you have on the site? I’m wondering if there is some oddity or conflict with the roles.

Thank you! In the meantime, could you test this version of Client Dash? We believe we may know what this particular issue is related to: https://d.pr/f/fIVSEq

If this version fixes your issue, we will be sure to put this fix in the next version.

We tested Client Dash all plugins disabled –> Same problem
The sent version does not seem to fix the issue either.

Thank you for testing this. I have to imagine there is some sort of conflict going on with the roles, because the way roles work means that even after the plugins are deactivated, the roles can still be corrupt.

In order to better understand what is going on, I need you to send an export of your roles. To do so, please install this plugin: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/user-roles-and-capabilities/

Then visit Users -> Roles & Capabilities, click the “Actions” button at the top (after waiting for page to fully load), select “Export Roles and Capability” from the dropdown, then select all the roles in the list and click “Export Capability”. This will generate a text file that you can then send back to me.

Let me know if you have any issues.

We “fixed” the problem by deleting all “non-wordpress” roles… We will try to re-introduce our own roles and keep you updated on the status of Client Dash

Thank you for this information. Using your roles was able to replicate the bug. We just released a new version of Client Dash, version 2.0.3 which fixes this bug.

Thank you so much for bringing this to our attention and helping us solve it. You should be able to restore your roles now with no further issues.

Please let us know if you have any other problems. Thanks!
