• Hi,
I’m hosting several WP site at GoDaddy. It’s not a WP specific hosting, but they allow me to host WP sites. I’ve received following warning messages few times from GoDaddy.

Should I delete these files? Any effects by deleting these files?

    Thank you for your help.

Install the Wordfence plugin and do a scan to get an idea of the extent of the problem.

Get a fresh cup of coffee, take a deep breath and carefully follow this guide. When you’re done, you may want to implement some (if not all) of the recommended security measures.

If you’re unable to clean your site(s) successfully, there are reputable organizations that can clean your sites for you. Sucuri and Wordfence are a couple.
